Microsoft recently terminated its online free trial for Azure Text to Speech, which is an AI-powered voice generator and considered as one of the most handy and powerful text-to-speech tool.
In this article, I have summarised 2 alternative ways for you to give Azure’s Text to Speech a free try before purchasing a subscription plan.
1. Use Microsoft Edge Browser
Microsoft’s Edge browser has built-in voice generator support, and you can easily find it inside settings menu on top right button.
To use it with your own text. You will need to create your own .txt
file and open it using Edge or you can simply drag your .txt
file into it, and repeat the same process.
If you don’t like the default voice, you can also set your preferred voice generator via the Voice Options.
